ECE’s Distribution Department provides full engineering and project management services for overhead and underground distribution systems operating at 12.47 kV and 25 kV.
ECE’s Distribution Department supports every aspect of distribution system design and management—from routing and structure design to field inspection and close-out documentation. Whether the project involves a new line extension, system rebuild, or relocation for DOT coordination, ECE ensures every step adheres to NESC and RUS requirements. The department’s engineers and designers prepare detailed plan and profile drawings, staking sheets, and sag/tension reports while also managing procurement, cost estimates, and material takeoffs.
ECE has deep experience working with electric cooperatives and municipalities, making them highly familiar with the regulatory documentation and approval processes required by the Rural Utilities Service (RUS). During construction, ECE provides inspection and verification services to ensure that all materials and installation practices meet design standards.
