Tri-County EMC Pink Hill Substation
Project Spotlight
The Pink Hill Substation is a new 115 kV electrical substation designed to provide reliable power to the surrounding communities. This project presented several challenges, including coordinating between two counties with distinct review processes and managing approvals from both NCDEQ and NCDOT. Despite the hurdles, our team’s coordinated efforts made sure all permits were secured. We also worked on connecting the substation to a new transmission line from the Tapp Farm Breaker Station, navigating easement acquisition and logistical challenges.
